Tuesday 29 November, a group of Iranian students protesting the British aggressive policies against Iran, from 1953 up to now, gathered in front of the British embassy in Tehran and as their number increased, some of them, against the diplomatic conventions, entered the embassy and stayed there for about an hour.

There are two views related to this event.  Some believe that regardless of the British actions against Iran, the students must not have taken over the embassy and this is going to further escalate the pressures on Iran, as embassies are considered as an extension of the home country's territory.

Some others believe that the Iranian students’ actions are their natural reaction to decades of hostility against the Iranian nation which has started by a coup against the democratic government of Dr. Mohammad Mosaddegh in 1953, which is going to continue by supporting the Saddam’s regime in the war against Iran from 1980 to 1988 and, at the present time, by provoking other countries for increasing the sanctions against Iran. In fact, this Iranian students’ action is in line with the global Occupy movement and is done against the centers of power and corruption.

This group announces that the British government has never made an apology to the Iranian nation for the 1953 coup and their ensuing aggressive acts.

What do you think about this and what is your preferred view over the matter?

As long as we the Iranians do revolutionary actions, others have right to condemn us. In a world based on dialogue and mutual understanding there is no space for extremists.

I am on the second side. Just Look at the history of GB presence in Iran during 20 century. In one hand Britains helped Reza Khan staging a coup that overthrew Qajar dynasty and on the others they deported him to Morris island in the after the end of WW2. They consider their interests and do not mention others' interests.

I think this revolutionary act was both good and bad, good because they proved everyone even the Iranian politicians that they can show their power to be effective in political issues, and it was not good because it was against our law. thw students must be more cautious about global affairs.

these actions just give the excuse to global society to condemn Iran and let them take fish from the muddy. It was better that the parliament cut the relations diplomatically not by means of some students that are not aware enough of the political considerations.

when the students occupied the US embassy, we were not as powerful as we are today. they can not condemn us because in any case they are more guilty in interfiering in the other countries' affairs. we must close the embassy any way.

It was wrong. Dear Brave students could ask the government to expel all agent of UK in embassy rather than storming to it, taking Ya Hosseyn flag, it is the matter of international laws, to keep the embassy safe. how can we ask them to respect it? while when it comes to hard situation, the Iranian so called students storm an embassy? it was embassy, no matter for what country. rules are rules dear fellows

I think that the major guilty in the muddy story between Iran and West, is British government. Britain is more clever than we guess about it! and we can`t see any its trace in its interferences, but this is a truth that history learn to us. For example it helped to Mohammad Ali Bab to created illusory sect that named Babiat in the south of Iran. Also the Britain tried to disintegration Iran with the treaties such as Paris treaty in the March of 1857. According to this treaty some part of Iran such Harat, disparted from Iran. There are many examples that I express only two cases of them.

I`m far from you and only hear some news about the occupy British embassy from news channels, But I think that the Iranian students want to save their country. This is a clear message from Iranian people to the world that "we don`t accept any programs and policies against our country." and it shows that to break contact with UK is a public request and all Iranian people support it.

as far as i am concerned Iranian government is rightful for expelling the Britain ambassador. But occupying the embassy was a wrong decision. The reason is that they (Britain) would show off themselves oppressed.
