Following the occupation of the British embassy by a group of Iranian students and the diplomatic reaction of this country over the matter, a media group named “Westorama” has released a video about why the students occupied the U.S. embassy.
The original video under the title "Why Iranian students occupied the embassy?” is released by an American anti-war group and the Westorama has done the translation as well as the edit. This video narrates the U.S. anti-human acts toward the Iranian nation since 1953 which dates the coup led against the democratic government of Dr. Mohammad Mosaddegh.
"The American producers of this video show to their public opinion that the occupation of the American embassy in Tehran is the natural reaction of the Iranian students to the 1953 coup led by the American and British governments against the democratic government of Iran at that time. So in order to prevent this to happen again for the 1979 Revolution, the students chose to occupy the American embassy” said a member of the Westorama media group in reference to this video in an interview with BarackObama.ir.
"This video shows how the British pillaged by every means the Iranian oil and their national resources and when the democratic government of that time cuts the British benefits from further exploitation of the Iranian oil, then Britain persuades the American government to lead a coup against Mosaddegh in a joint operation” he added.
"In fact, the recent event concerning the occupation of the British embassy is about that the students are fed up with a century of oppression led by the British government.” the Westorama member said in pointing out the various injustices carried out by the British government against the Iranian nation in different periods of history.
Creation of territorial disputes between Iran and the British protectorates in southern Persian Gulf, 11 million deaths due to famine during World War II, the 1953 coup against Mosaddegh, providing Saddam Hussein, the Iraqi dictator, with finance, intelligence and equipment in the 1980-1988 war against Iran form only a portion of the crimes that the British government has done against the Iranian nation, and the British people and the whole world must be informed of this crimes.
