Military Aid to Israel harms U.S. interests, because of its unconditional support of Israeli policies, the U.S. is seen around the world as facilitating the Israeli occupation.

that promote a genuine, lasting peace based on dignity, security,
and equality for both Israelis and Palestinians.
Military Aid to Israel harms U.S. interests, because of its unconditional support of Israeli policies, the U.S. is seen around the world as facilitating the Israeli occupation. General Petraeus was quoted as telling the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff that "Israeli intransigence on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict was jeopardizing U.S. standing in the region,” and Vice-President Biden warned Israeli leaders that Israeli insistence on building settlements in East Jerusalem "undermines the security of our troops … endangers us and endangers regional peace.”
