Although Mr. Ledeen, who is also an expert on Iran, tried to make his short expert opinion believable with sarcasm but it confirms some important points in U.S.-Iran relations.
Michael Ledeen is a figure to be kept carefully in mind. It could be said that that the U.S. overly hostile relations toward Iran and giving Israeli interests precedence over those of Americans in its relations with Iran is beholden to advisors like Michael Ledeen. Maybe residents of the occupied Palestine owe to Mr. Ledeen more than anyone else does. He is one of the figures who put an effort in channeling the taxes of Americans into hostility toward countries like Iran.
Of course, this is not a secret for the American people and that some of them call Michael Ledeen, and 11other alike, as "12 evil men". This term is applied to a group of politicians and political advisors in the U.S. administration who are excessively warmonger and defend the interests of the Zionist regime and don’t let the American policies pursue a peaceful process based on the social justice.
American protesters oppose the presence of people like Michael Ledeen in the circle of Obama’s advisers and call him an "Israel mercenary.”
Individuals such as Mr. Ledeen in the Obama’s advisers team has led to constantly hostile relations, based on Israeli interests, toward Iran and other Middle Eastern countries despite some moderate positions on the side of Obama. And this is not clear how much price should the Americans pay for the America’s war for Israel because of the influence of the persons like him.
But what is clear is that there are many people in Iran and in the U.S. who are hopeful to see like minded people as Mr. Michael Ledeen deprived of their influence over the U.S. presidents.
